About the Founder...

"I’ve always loved candles; the calmness they bring, the warmth they spread, and the way they can instantly make every moment feel more special. Yet in Egypt, I struggled to find candles that truly reflected what I was looking for: high-quality, authentic, and safe creations. That’s why I created Lumiz, born out of passion, a love for beauty, and a desire to craft something original, genuine, and refined.

With Lumiz, I pour my values into every detail: health, sustainability, and community. I avoid plastic, use recycled and natural materials like alabaster and pottery, and collaborate closely with local artisans. Even our jars are designed with purpose, once the candle is finished, they can be refilled with new wax or repurposed to hold something else, giving them a second life.
